Kim LeFevre
Hello! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Kim - wife, mama of 2 great kids, American expat living in the Middle East since 2015. I'm a social worker turned birth worker and creator of this space, Ertiah by Kim.
I have always been passionate about supporting women and families. Throughout my 3 pregnancies (2 live children, 1 miscarriage) and birth experiences I had times that I felt really supported and heard, and other times that I was made to feel powerless and unimportant. So these experiences coupled with my innate passion to support women led me to doula and breastfeeding support work.
As a certified birth doula through DONA International, I'm passionate about supporting your birth and it is an honor that you would consider me as your doula! Ertiah (ارتياح) is the Arabic word meaning satisfaction and relief. My goal is to help women have a satisfying birth experience by providing personalized support throughout your unique journey.
It is my firm belief that all women deserve to be cared for, heard, and supported through their birth experiences leading to greater relief and a sense of satisfaction.
It's the same idea for the struggling breastfeeding mama. As a certified lactation support counselor, I'm here to help bring relief and satisfaction to your breastfeeding journey.

From Booked to Birth and Beyond (Standard Package)
01.
Step 1: Free initial consultation
Book a free 30 minute consultation to discuss my birth doula service and have an opportunity to ask your questions.
02.
Step 2: contract & retainer
Sign the contract and pay the retainer fee to reserve your due date on my calendar.
03.
Step 3: prenatal support
Two prenatal visits, continuous support by phone or email from point of hire until 2 weeks postpartum, on-call for your birth from 38 weeks until delivery.
04.
Step 4: birth & postpartum
Continuous birth support from the onset of labor until 1-2 hours postpartum. Assistance with breastfeeding if needed and one postpartum visit after you return home.
