Kim LeFevre
I'm an American expat living in Abu Dhabi. My family has been living in the Middle East since 2015 (Oman, Saudi Arabia, and now The UAE). I'm married to my best friend and we have 2 children with us and 1 in heaven. My first child was born in The US and my second was born in Oman. When I moved to Oman I studied Arabic - one of the greatest challenges of my adult life! I love learning Arabic and it inspired the name of my business - Ertiah by Kim. Ertiah means relief or satisfaction which are my goals as I support women!
I have a degree in Social Work and worked in various roles supporting women and families in The US. I am a certified birth doula through DONA International, as well as a certified lactation support counselor, and a member of Doulas of Dubai. I'm so excited to be offering services to women in The UAE.

My job is not simply to help you get through birth, but to walk with you from pregnancy through postpartum as you become a parent.

I had my first child in 2014 and the process of preparing for her birth got me hooked into the birth world. I found throughout my personal experiences with pregnancy, birth and miscarriage that there weren't enough resources and support locally for women through such significant times in our lives. So I finally took the plunge and got certified as a birth doula through DONA International and also became a certified lactation support counselor so that I can be a resource in the community offering quality birth and breastfeeding support.
